It’s great that there’s a ‘like’ button for comments as well as posts, but I and no doubt others use it as an acknowledgement, a notification that the comment has been read. If only there was a choice of buttons: Like. Agree. Seen it. Meh. Well, maybe not the last, it’s a bit rude, but no doubt that’s how many might feel.

It’s a really horrible expression, isn’t it? Says more about the person saying it than about what they’re supposedly commenting on.
